A legacy of care and vision

Since the 1990s, there has been a resurgence of a domestic worker-led movement to advance the rights and dignity of both elders and home caregivers across California. For nearly three decades, Aquilina Soriano Versoza has been a tireless advocate of this movement. In particular, she has led the Pilipino Workers Center, a founding organization of both the California Domestic Workers Coalition and the National Domestic Workers Alliance, where home caregivers and other domestic workers have come together to drive meaningful change for themselves and their communities.

Inspired by the belief that home care should honor, respect, and nurture everyone involved, Aquilina and a team of caregivers and industry leaders founded Vivid Life Home Care in 2023.
